Description
The scope of work is to install a well pumping system at an existing well and pipe connection to the Orah Brandt Park. The existing well is 16-inch diameter, steel cased, and capable of 800 gpm. The well pump is anticipated to be a 75 hp submersible turbine pump set at 84 feet. The wellhead, above ground piping, and new concrete pad will be enclosed in a roofed shelter with expanded metal walls; the shelter will be adaptable/removeable to allow future access to the well head. Connect discharge pipe to an existing, buried 8-inch PVC conveyance pipe to the park. Connect the outlet end of the existing 8-inch PVC pipe to the park’s 6-inch pressure irrigation mainline. Install a buried check valve in the City’s municipal irrigation delivery stub to prevent back flow. A new electric power transformer and power cable upgrade is needed for the source.
