Curtis Hill Road and SR 6 Water Main Replacement

Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at Boistfort Valley Water, 442 Curtis Hill Road, Chehalis, Washington  98532, up to 11:00 a.m.; local time on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct the Curtis Hill Road and SR 6 Water Main Replacement.The Project includes three schedules:  Schedule A includes installing approximately 8,600 linear feet of 8-inch water main along Curtis Hill Road from 442 Curtis Hill Road to SR 6.Schedule B includes installing approximately 2,545 linear feet of 8-inch water main along SR 6 from Curtis Hill Road to 1784 State Route 6.Schedule C work includes installing approximately 790 linear feet of 6-inch water main along SR 6 from Clinton Road to Curtis Hill Road.The Work shall be substantially complete within 120 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed.  All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the Business Manager, Boistfort Valley Water, Chehalis, Washington.The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above.  Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents.  All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the “Boistfort Valley Water” and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount.Bid Documents for this project are available free-of-charge at the following website:https://gobids.grayandosborne.com.  Bidders are encouraged to register in order to receive automatic email notification of future addenda and to be placed on the Bidders List.  For assistance, please call (206) 284‑0860.  Contract questions shall be directed only to the office of the Project Engineer.All work performed on this project will be subject to the higher of the prevailing state or federal wage rates.Boistfort Valley Water is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.  Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (small minority and women-owned businesses) are encouraged to submit bids.General Contractors and all subcontractors must meet DWSRF requirements and provisions.A Prebid Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, March 24, 2026.  The conference will begin at the Boistfort Valley Water, 442 Curtis Hill Road, Chehalis, WA  98532, Washington at 10:00 a.m. (local time).  Prospective bidders are encouraged to participate.Financing of the Project has been provided by Boistfort Valley Water, Washington and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Program with Federal Funds from the Environmental Protection Agency.  The Boistfort Valley Water expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities in any Proposal.(Signed)               DUSTY GUENTHERGENERAL MANAGER
