Public NoticeKittitas County, Ellensburg, WANotice of public hearing to consider adopting the 2025-2030 Local Homeless Housing Plan for Kittitas CountyThe Board of Kittitas County Commissioners will meet at 2pm on December 16, 2025 at the Commissioners’ Auditorium, 205 West 5th Avenue, Room 109, Kittitas County Courthouse. to consider adopting the 2025-2030 Local Homeless Housing Plan for Kittitas County.The Board County Commissioners will meet to approve, deny, or continue the public hearing to adopt the 2025-2030 Local Homeless Housing Plan for Kittitas County at 2:00 pm on December 16, 2025, at the Commissioners’ Auditorium, 205 West 5th Avenue, Room 109, Kittitas County Courthouse.Per Washington State Department of Commerce, communities are required to have a local homeless and housing plan.  Plans must include, at a minimum, the state required plan objectives, a collaborative planning process, and measures of success.On October 16, 2025, the local homeless housing task force, Kittitas County Homelessness and Affordable Housing Committee, formally recommended the adoption of the draft 2025-2030 local plan.The plan is available online atKittitas County Public Health | Human Services | Homelessness & Affordable Housingfor review. Comments about the 2025-2030 Local Homeless Housing Plan for Kittitas County may also be submitted in writing to Kittitas County Board of Commissioners up until the time of the public hearing.The Commissioners’ Auditorium is handicap accessible.  Arrangements to reasonably accommodate special needs, including handicap accessibility or interpreter, will be made upon receiving 24-hour advance notice.
