Contractors who bid on this project must be registered on the Small WorksRoster by the time bids are due, for Mill Road and Discovery Road Improvements up to thehour of 2:00 p. m., Pacific Local Time, Wednesday, October 15, 2025, and will be publicly openedand read aloud at that time on the same day in the Port Townsend City Hall, 250 Madison St,Suite 1, Port Townsend, Washington in the second-floor conference room.Summary of ProjectThis Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following work: traffic control; installation ofnew catch basins and storm sewer pipe with minor outlet protection; ditch construction,pulverizing the existing asphalt pavement; grading and compacting subgrade; placing crushedsurfacing; paving with hot mix asphalt; installation of permanent pavement markings; erosionand sediment control; protection of existing utilities; adjustment of appurtenances; and finalsite cleanup; and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, theseContract Provisions and the Standard Specifications.The Engineer’s Estimate is $278,316Plans, specifications, addenda, and plan holders list for this project will be available on-linethrough City of Port Townsend’s website atwww.cityofpt.us/rfps.
