Description
Seeks competitive bids from experienced bidders with test phase lead resources who will bring deep subject matter expertise and industry experience to the Charlie project. It is required that bidder proposed lead resources have automated fare collection (AFC) experience and have worked closely in the implementation of fares technology at transit agencies. Experience implementing Cubic’s automated fare collection / payments technology for transit agencies is preferred. As technical experts, test phase workstream lead resources will guide design, evaluate functionality, identify vulnerabilities, and support issue resolution within their focus area and leverage their experience to reduce risk to the project overall.
This solicitation has some or all State funding, additional requirements may apply. Deadline for submission of Bidder questions via COMMBUYS Q&A 3/23/2026 2:00 PM. The contract duration is 1 year from the effective date. There shall be 1, 6 month MBTA option to extend.
