Description

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) seeks proposals for a qualified service provider to operate and manage the concession services, cabin rentals, and beach lodge rentals at Backbone State Park. The Respondent shall be responsible for maintaining the facilities and grounds and shall have the right, with approval from the DNR, to make improvements to the facilities in the Respondent’s and DNR’s combined efforts to provide the best services to park users. All applicable information, cost, and technical proposals must be submitted via email to the Issuing Officer, Kim Bohlen, at kim.bohlen@dnr.iowa.gov. The bid closing date and time is December 19, 2025, at 12:00 PM (noon)
