Meridian Township (the Owner)is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: 2026 Local Street Crushing and Resurfacing MD24002Meridian Township, Michigan Bids will be received by theClerk’s Office at the Meridian Township Halllocated at5151 Marsh Road, Okemos, Michigan 48864untilThursday, February 19, 2026, at 11:00 AM. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the following work: 3.8 miles of crushing and shaping existing local roads and repaving with new asphalt. Cleanout and regrade existing ditches along local roads; replace and install driveway and road culverts. Reconstruction of Hulett Road with median islands and traffic circles, drainage improvements, signing and striping. The approximate quantities of the major items of work are: Culv, Cl F, 12 Inch 3908 Ft HMA, 3EL 3046 Ton HMA, 4EL 6418 Ton HMA, 5EL 2870 Ton Slope Restoration, Non-Freeway, Type E 43388 Syd Bids are requested for the following Contract:2026 Local Street Crushing and Resurfacing Please see the separate files uploaded, which consist of the Project Manual and the Drawings. Bidder’s inquiries shall be directed to: Instructions to Bidders: Bid Security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders must be submitted with each Bid. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of 120 days after the actual date of opening thereof. This time period may be extended by mutual agreement of the OWNER and any Bidder or Bidders. The Township reserves the right to accept any or all alternative Bids and award the contract to other than the lowest bidder, to waive any irregularities or informalities or both; to reject any or all Bids; and in general to make the award of the Contract in any manner deemed by the Township, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of Meridian Township.
