Aransas County Airport Bulk Fuel Farm Engineering Project (Request for Qualifications)

County requests the turnkey services of a professional engineering firm with the capability to complete the following project scope. Specific duties assigned to the chosen engineer may include, but are not necessarily limited to the following This initial phase focuses on comprehensive planning and designing the fuel farm infrastructure to meet the airport's specific needs. Site Assessment and Feasibility Study Determine the most suitable location for the fuel farm, considering factors like available land, environmental impact, and proximity to runways. Refer to Airport Layout Plan in the Airport Master Plan, this addresses the relocation spot at the airport. Capacity Planning Evaluate the airport's current and future fuel demand to determine the required storage tank capacity for different fuel types, such as Jet A Fuel and Avgas. System Design Develop detailed plans and blueprints for all components, including: Fuel storage tanks and containment systems; and, Pumping and filtration systems; and, Fuel pipelines, manifolds, and hydrant systems for fuel distribution; and, Loading and off-loading positions for receiving fuel via truck, rail, or pipeline; and, Fire protection and safety systems. This solicitation has some or all Local funding, additional requirements may apply. This project has a "prevailing wage" requirement.
