Elevator Improvements, C.I.P. No. 690569-100000 1.1 Scope: The City of Columbus, Department of Public Utilities is receiving bids until November 12, 2025, at 3:00 PM Eastern Time for construction of the Division of Water’s Elevator Improvements, C.I.P. No. 690569-100000 the work for which consists of renovating and modernizing the freight elevators at the PAWP, HCWP, DRWP, Hoover Dam, and 910 Dublin Road, and other work as may be necessary to complete the contract, in accordance with the drawings, technical specifications, special provisions, and City of Columbus Construction and Material specifications set forth in this Invitation For Bid (IFB). Bids are to be submitted only at www.bidexpress.com. Hard copies shall not be accepted. All questions concerning this project are to be sent to DPUConstructionBids@columbus.gov. The last day to submit questions will be October 24, 2025, phone calls will not be accepted. Responses will be posted on Bid Express at www.bidexpress.com as an addendum. Notice of published addenda will be posted on the City’s Vendor Services web site and all addenda will be posted on www.bidexpress.com. A pre-bid meeting will be held. The City will be holding a pre-bid conference. Attendance is strongly recommended. It will be held at 910 Dublin Road, Columbus, OH 43215 on October 15th, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., the meeting will be held in the auditorium. No site visits will be available during the bidding period. 1.2 Classification: All bid documents (Invitation for Bid, technical specifications, plans, and future addenda) will be available for review and download on Bid Express at www.bidexpress.com after the IFB is published.
