IntroductionThe City of Montpelier is seeking proposals from qualified cleaning service providers to perform custodial services at the Montpelier Senior Activity Center located at 58 Barre Street. The Center provides daily programs, meals, classes, and community activities, and requires reliable, consistent cleaning services to maintain a welcoming and sanitary environment.Full RFP DownloadClick hereto download a PDF of the RFPScope of WorkCleaning services are expected to be performedbetween 6–8 hours per weekon a set schedule mutually agreed upon by the contractor and the City.Required Services Include:4 Bathrooms (twice weekly minimum):Clean and disinfect toilets (6), urinals (2), 5 sinks, mirrors, and fixturesRefill soap, paper towels, and toilet paper (supplies provided by City)Sweep and mop floorsFloors (weekly):Vacuum carpets and rugs throughout the facilitySweep and mop all hard flooring and common areasSurfaces (weekly):Wipe and disinfect high-touch surfaces (tables, chairs, railings, doorknobs)Dust furniture, ledges, and common area surfacesRemove trash and recycling  (twice weekly minimum)from all rooms and place in designated disposal areasOptional / As-Needed Services (priced separately):Window cleaningCarpet deep cleaningspecialty floor care
