Description

The Kauai County Department of Water Supply, State of Hawaii, is soliciting proposals under RFP No. 26-04 for SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) System Maintenance and Professional Consultation Services (Job No. 26-04). The primary purpose of this RFP is to obtain qualified contractor(s) to provide comprehensive maintenance and support for the Department's existing SCADA system. This includes, but is not limited to, preventative and corrective maintenance, system upgrades, troubleshooting, and emergency response services. The scope of services also encompasses professional consultation related to the SCADA system's performance, security, and potential enhancements. This may include assessing current system architecture, recommending improvements, developing and implementing system modifications, and providing expert advice on best practices. Key requirements for interested vendors include demonstrated experience in SCADA system maintenance, in-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards and technologies, the ability to respond promptly to service requests, and adherence to specified insurance requirements as detailed in Exhibit A of the RFP documentation.
