DPS’sDriver License Division (DLD) seeks a Contractor-hosted Failure To AppearSystem (FTA System) and all related services. Political Subdivisions will usethe FTA System and data stored in the FTA System (FTA Data) as a collection andenforcement tool. The FTA System will provide Political Subdivisions with theability to restrict a Violator’s ability to renew their driver license untilthe Violator has taken care of their outstanding violations. Identification cards and out of state driverlicenses are not eligible for this program.Contractor’ssole compensation under the Contract is based on fees authorized under Tex.Transp. Code Chapter 706. This is a non-DPS funded contract. Under Tex. Transp.Code, § 706.007, an officer collecting a fee under Tex. Transp. Code § 706.006will remit the money to the municipal or county treasurer, as applicable. DPSwill make no payments to Contractor at any time during Contractor’s performanceof the Contract.The current fee payable is $10.00. The $10.00fee is split between the Political Subdivision and Contractor in accordancewith the FTA Interlocal Cooperation Contract between DPS and PoliticalSubdivisions
