2026 Electric Distribution Reliability Improvements

Construction of 7,200/12,470 and 14,400/24,940 VAC 3-phase overhead and underground distribution lines. The contractor will be required to install and remove poles, related capacitor banks, transformers, switches and underground risers and to pull underground wire, re-conductor lines, build new lines and perform other distribution line work related to the improvement of Dalton Utilities electrical distribution system. Bidders must submit a pre-qualification package containing requested information to the office of Dalton Utilities by 5:00 P.M., local time, Monday, February 9, 2026. All applicants submitting pre-qualification documentation will be notified of their status via phone call to the contact person listed on the package by 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. Questions must be received by 5:00 P.M. on Monday, February 23, 2026. This solicitation has some or all Local funding, additional requirements may apply.
