Description
The Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL), State of Hawaii, is soliciting proposals under RFP-26-HHL-005 for a statewide Grant for Disaster Preparedness and Mitigation.
The main purpose of this RFP is to secure a qualified entity or entities to develop and implement disaster preparedness and mitigation strategies across Hawaiian Home Lands. The scope encompasses a comprehensive approach to addressing potential disasters and their impact on beneficiaries and DHHL assets.
Key requirements include, but are not limited to: developing a disaster preparedness plan, identifying and mitigating disaster risks, conducting community outreach and education programs, providing training for beneficiaries and DHHL staff, and coordinating with relevant state and federal agencies. Applicants must demonstrate experience in disaster preparedness planning, risk assessment, community engagement, and grant management.
