Description

The project includes all material, labor, and related appurtenances for rehabilitation of a gravity sewer main in Adairsville, Georgia. This project involves pressure grouting and CIPP lining of approximately 335 linear feet of 12-inch DIP gravity sewer main, in which 100 linear feet are located within CSX right-of-way. Access will be provided through two existing manholes situated outside of the CSX right-of-way. No excavation is required, as the existing sanitary sewer will be rehabilitated in place utilizing trenchless CIPP lining methods. The project will also include the rehabilitation of two existing sanitary sewer manholes. The Contractor will be responsible for providing all documentation required by CSX to obtain the necessary railroad permit for the work within the right-of-way. At a minimum, this includes: (1) a current Certificate of General Liability insurance meeting CSX¿s requirements; (2) Railroad Protective Liability (RPL) coverage if work occurs within 50 feet of the tracks¿Contractors may provide their own RPL policy or may elect to purchase CSX-issued RPL coverage for $1,250 per job location; and (3) all CIPP manufacturer design calculations required for CSX review and approval. Failure to provide complete and compliant railroad submittals may delay permit issuance and the start of work
