ADA-72179 Proposal to Amend a State Airport Land Lease at Deadhorse Airport

The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to change the authorized uses of Lease ADA-72179, Lot 8, Block 50, consisting of approximately 218,385 square feet, at Deadhorse Airport. Applicant: Alaska Energy Services, LLC. Annual rent: $62,239.73 and any other associated fees. Authorized uses: non-aviation – Storage of oil and gas industry materials, supplies and equipment; storage of (non-operational) camp-facility units, and construction and operation of commercial camp-facilities; living quarters for Lessee/Sub-Lessee employees only; warehouse/shop (including offices) used as a base of operations for a general oilfield services company that supports field activities or operations associated with exploration, production, processing or treatment operations, or transmission facilities; storage and maintenance warehouse for vehicles and equipment engaged in cold weather operations and testing.This is an application filed under AS 02.15.090(c), which allows the Department to grant the proposed lease amendment without competition. Written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., February 28, 2026, after which the Department will determine whether or not to amend the lease.
