Metropolitan Airports Commission is seeking plant upgrades for the 2026 EMC chilled water system improvement

Description

This project is upgrading the chilled water system by replacing chilled water control valves with a pressure-independent model, installing a magnetic filter, installing multiple pressure sensors, and replacing tertiary chilled water pumps. It is also installing an owner-furnished condenser water pump at the EMC. Controls work includes network controller upgrades, pressure sensor monitoring on the BAS, and control valve upgrades. Electrical work includes motor starter modifications and powering mechanical equipment. Work also includes the removal and replacement of concrete pads and structural steel work to reinforce a steel beam. This project has a "prevailing wage" requirement. SBE Goal 7%; MBE 32%; WBE 20% This solicitation has some or all State funding, additional requirements may apply.
