Description
The State of Hawaii, Department of Business, Economic Development, & Tourism, is soliciting proposals (RFP-26-01-BDSD) for a Coordinator for the Hawai‘i Pavilion at the 51st International Food and Beverage Exhibition (FOODEX) in Tokyo, Japan in 2026. The purpose of this RFP is to secure a qualified contractor to manage and coordinate Hawaii's participation in FOODEX Japan 2026.
The scope of work includes comprehensive coordination and management of the Hawai‘i Pavilion, encompassing logistics, exhibitor support, marketing, and on-site management during the event. Key requirements include experience in international trade shows, specifically FOODEX Japan or similar events, demonstrated ability to coordinate complex logistics, proficiency in Japanese language and culture, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of successful event management. The selected contractor will be responsible for ensuring a successful and impactful presence for Hawaii at FOODEX Japan 2026.
