ECANS Assessment Support and Training

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHS) is soliciting proposals under RFP number HHS0016877 for eCANS (electronic Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths) Assessment Support and Training. The primary purpose of this solicitation is to secure a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive support and training services related to the eCANS assessment tool. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, providing training to HHS staff and potentially other stakeholders on the proper administration and interpretation of the eCANS assessment. This likely includes developing and delivering training materials, conducting train-the-trainer sessions, and providing ongoing technical assistance. The vendor will also be responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of the eCANS system. Key requirements include demonstrable experience in providing training and support for the eCANS assessment tool or similar assessment instruments used in child welfare or behavioral health settings. Prospective vendors must also demonstrate a strong understanding of the principles of child and adolescent assessment and treatment planning. Proposals should include detailed pricing information as outlined in Exhibit D and adherence to all required HHS solicitation affirmations detailed in Exhibit A. Vendors must also complete and submit the Bid Execution Page (Exhibit C) and adhere to data use stipulations (Exhibit B).
