Invitation for Bids for Cedar Mountain Road Stormwater Improvement Project (Location 2) for Douglasville ¿ Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority 8763 Hospital Drive Douglasville, Georgia 30134 November 12, 2025 IFB # 306 The Douglasville ¿ Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority (the ¿Authority¿) is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the performance of the Cedar Mountain Road Stormwater Improvement Project (Location 2) (the ¿Project¿), as more fully described in the Invitation for Bids. The scope of work includes the provision by the bidder or contractor of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work. The Project will be ¿turnkey¿ and require minimal involvement of Authority personnel. The work to be performed shall include, but is not limited to, the removal of approximately 84 linear feet (LF) of 48¿ corrugated metal pipe (CMP), two headwalls, and 51 LF of 8¿ water main. The Project includes installation of 47 LF of 12¿x8¿ concrete box culvert, two concrete headwalls, 51 LF of 8¿ ductile iron water main pipe and associated road restoration. The Project site is located within Douglas County. Plans for Cedar Mountain Road Stormwater Improvement Project (Location 2) have been prepared by RINDT, Inc. (¿RINDT¿), Eric Sluder, PE, dated 12/30/2024. Special Conditions and Appendices contain more detailed information on the Project scope. All work will be performed within Authority easements and/or inside public right-of-way. All anticipated rights-of-way and easements required for the Project have been obtained. All anticipated federal, state, and local permits required for the Project have been obtained.
